OTB Easter Camp Location: Scotstoun Leisure Centre Astroturf Pitches Time: 9.30am Drop Off 3pm Pick up Week 1 (Mon 6th - Fri 10th April) - SPFL Week Week 2 (Mon 13th - Fri 17th) - Italian Football Week Get ready for two incredible weeks of football, fun and development at the On The Ball Academy Easter Camp. Designed for players aged 4–15, this exciting camp blends elite coaching, creative games, skill development and small-sided matches into an unforgettable holiday football experience. Across the two weeks, players will explore different football themes from around the game, learning the styles, skills and creativity that make football special. Week 1: Stars of the SPFL 6th – 10th April Week one celebrates the excitement and talent of the Scottish game, as players train like some of the standout performers from the SPFL this season. Throughout the week, players will take inspiration from players such as: Yousef Chermitti - powerful striker play & overhead kicks Callum McGregor – midfield control and passing intelligence Claudio Braga - flair and dribblling Creative attacking players known for flair, speed and skill Each day will focus on different elements of the modern game including: :soccer: Attacking play and finishing :soccer: Midfield creativity and passing combinations :soccer: Defending and 1v1 battles :soccer: Speed, agility and ball mastery :soccer: Match intelligence and decision making Players will test their new skills through fun challenges, skill competitions and exciting small-sided matches, helping them understand how the best players influence games. Week 2: The Magic of Italian Football 13th – 17th April In week two we travel to the home of tactical brilliance, iconic players and beautiful football – Italy. Players will learn about the style and philosophy that made Italian football famous while celebrating the brilliance of legendary figures of the game. Inspired by icons such as: Roberto Baggio – creativity and flair Paolo Maldini – world class defending Andrea Pirlo – vision and passing mastery We’ll also explore the traditions of the Italian national team and the exciting football culture of Fiorentina.
