Looking to join a team at On The Ball Academy? Our Team Trials offer players aged 4 to 16 the chance to experience professional coaching, meet our squads, and find the right place in our academy pathway — all before making any commitment.

Each trial includes 1–2 training sessions (depending on age group), led by UEFA-qualified coaches who assess players in a supportive, pressure-free environment. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced footballers, and tailor placements based on age, skill level, and readiness.
Whether your child is starting out in our Pre-Academy or progressing into competitive formats like 5-a-side, 7-a-side, or 11-a-side, our team trials are the first step to joining one of Scotland’s most inclusive and structured grassroots programs.
